Héroes del Silencio fue una banda de rock española de Zaragoza, Aragón, España, formada por el guitarrista Juan Valdivia y el cantante Enrique Bunbury. La alineación fue completada por el bajista Joaquín Cardiel y el baterista Pedro Andreu.
Durante la década de 1980 experimentaron un gran éxito en España, América y varios países europeos, entre ellos Alemania, Bélgica, Suiza, Francia, Yugoslavia y Portugal.

Se establecieron como uno de los principales contribuyentes a la escena “Rock en Español” y son considerados como una de las mejores bandas de todos los tiempos en ese género.

Sus marcas registradas son sus letras bien elaboradas, arreglos complicados y ritmos impecables.

Después de doce años y numerosos álbumes, la banda se separó en 1996. Cuando Bunbury comenzó un proyecto en solitario, otros miembros de la banda también siguieron caminos musicales diferentes.

Héroes del Silencio (translated: Heroes of the Silence) was a Spanish rock band from Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain, formed by guitarist Juan Valdivia and singer Enrique Bunbury. The lineup was completed by bassist Joaquin Cardiel and drummer Pedro Andreu.

During the 1980s they experienced success around Spain, America, and various European countries including Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Yugoslavia and Portugal.

They established themselves as one of the major contributors to the “Rock en Español” scene and are considered to be one of the all-time best bands in that genre.

Their trademarks are their well-crafted lyrics, complicated arrangements and impeccable rhythm.

After twelve years and numerous albums, the band broke up in 1996. When the lead singer started a solo project as Bunbury, other members of the band also followed a different musical paths.
