About Helen Terry

Helen Terry is a British singer best known for her backing vocal work with the band Culture Club. Her voice can be prominently heard on many songs featured on their first two albums, Kissing to Be Clever and Colour by Numbers.

Terry also had a solo career of her own, releasing an album titled Blue Notes in 1986. Her song “Love Lies Lost” was a top 40 hit in the UK. She contributed a song to the Electric Dreams soundtrack, titled “Now You’re Mine”, which was co-written and produced by Giorgio Moroder.

Terry has mostly retired from singing, though has occasionally appeared on other projects, contributing vocals to various Boy George solo albums as well as the song “Whole New Way” by Scissor Sisters.
