Marina Kawano is a Japanese artist signed with SME records. She gained interest in music after piano lessons since she was 4 and then shortly after, she gained an interest for singing. She took guitar lessons in high school and started singing covers for anime songs in college. Her singing career was launched after winning the 2010 Anisong Grand Prix. Her most famous works are those with the Monogatari series such as snowdrop and Sono Koe Wo Oboeteru
