Born in Indiana, Martin Vogt (a.k.a Haywyre) has developed a love for a wide variety of music. As a child, he studied piano from a classical perspective. As his musical capabilities progressed, he began to embrace his own style of music which was influenced by both electronic and jazz music.

In 2009, Martin released his debut album, Lotus. He has even produced under the Monstercat label earning the prestige of one of the most well-known artists to produce for Monstercat.
