Hans Zimmer is a film score composer and record producer who has worked in the film industry since the 1980s. He spent the early part of his career in the United Kingdom before moving to California in the United States. Currently he is the head of the film music division at DreamWorks and also works with other composers through his company Remote Control Productions.
Zimmer is one of the most well-known and in-demand composers of film scores having composed music for over 150 films. He has received four Grammy Awards, three Classic BRIT Awards, two Golden Globes, and an Academy Award.
