Haniya Aslam is a Pakistani-Canadian musician, composer, producer, and audio engineer. Her body of work encompasses a range of emotions which creates a space for her listeners to explore her deep-rooted influences, ranging from Pakistani folk and Qawwali to classic rock and Turkish funk.
In 2007, Haniya formed the band Zeb and Haniya with bandmate Zeb Bangash, going on to achieve international recognition with their debut album, Chup.
Establishing her own recording studio, Citrus Audio, Aslam has since scored for feature films – ‘Dobara Phir Se’ (2016) and ‘Lala Begum’ (2016), as well as sound design and mix for several international projects.
