About Hall Johnson

Hall Johnson is a five-piece rock band from Dallas, Texas. The band is comprised of Milo Cortese (vocals, rhythm guitar), Landry French (guitar), Trevor Stovall (guitar, piano), Trevor Woods (bass) and Logan Krupovage (drums).

Hall Johnson was formed on July 21, 2016, named after the Hall-Johnson Road in Dallas. Originally the band was only a four-piece, consisting of Milo Cortese (vocals, rhythm guitar), Thomas Stuart (lead guitar), Landry French (bass) and Trevor Stovall (Drums). As explained in their Facebook bio, Trevor did not plan to be the band’s drummer, but after the four-piece was unable to find one, he began learning the instrument. Following the release of their two-track single Upstate / City Lights, Lucas Burns joined as the band’s drummer, with Trevor becoming the band’s third guitarist, also playing keys.

After releasing their debut EP Goalie, both Thomas Stuart and Lucas Burns left the band, replaced by Logan Kruprovage and Trevor Woods. Following this, Hall Johnson’s second EP Day Trip was dropped on September 13, 2018.
