About HAIM

HAIM (pronounced high-em, from the Hebrew word for life, חַיִּים) is a rock band from Los Angeles, California. The band comprises sisters Este (b. March 14th, 1986), Danielle (b. February 16th, 1989) and Alana Haim (b. December 15th, 1991) as well as keyboardist Tommy King, and drummer Jody Giachello [citation needed].

Haim’s sound has been described as “nu-folk-meets-nineties-R&B” and “music that sounds like it was written on a lakeside retreat attended by Stevie Nicks, John Waite and En Vogue.” Their first full length album, Days Are Gone, was released in 2013. They played at the 2013 Glastonbury festival, earned a top ranking in BBC’s Sound of 2013 poll, and signed with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation management group.
