ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ (Guru Nanak)

Guru Nanak (15 April 1469 – 22 September 1539) is the founder of Sikhism, and the first of the ten Sikh Gurus.

Nanak’s teachings are recorded in verse form in the Sikh scripture, the Guru Granth Sahib. These verses are commonly used in contemporary Sikh music.
