Grimes (AKA.Hjärtat AKA Milpool ) is a multi-talented Rapper,Singer,Songwriter,Producer,Instrumentalist From Europe, who has dabbled in Rap,Rock, Experimental,Electronic,syth Wave,etc through his multiple music endeavours over the last decade .
Dropping a total of 7 projects through different names and Aliases over the years
Grimes first officially started releasing music in 2011, Initially only dropping instrumentals before releasing a short Ep and demos for songs that would end up on his debut album “Arrested Development“. Which was an amalgamation of all his styles in an Extremely one of a kind package. Chopping samples From Fall Out Boy, Red Hot Chili Peppers,Bon Iver and more while merging together elements of Hip-hop,Glitch Hop,Rock,Indie pop etc. To create this Extravagant collection of Ballads and Bangers

Then in 2012 he started releasing music with his band“HJÄRTAT” (meaning heart or “of the heart” more precisely the name coming from a term of endearment. Where he plays guitar and performs lead vocals. When recording music for “HJÄRTAT” Grimes speaks Swedish and experiments with more synth and electronic pop sonics as well as indie Rock elements.
