Greg Street, a fierce hip-hop DJ for radio station V-103 (WVEE) in Atlanta, was also tapped to host a Slip N Slide compilation of Southern rap. Aptly titled aftere the hour his show begins, Six O'Clock, Vol. 1 was preceded with a single, Trina and Deuce Poppi’s “Thug Like Me,” in July 2001. Street shared the executive producer’s hat with Ted Lucas.
