About Goodie Mob

Formed in 1991, Goodie Mob was a legendary and pioneering rap group apart of the notorious Atlanta Dungeon Family, consisting of Cee-Lo Green, Khujo, T-Mo, and Big Gipp.

First heard on OutKast’s debut album, the group later emerged as a powerful force in southern hip-hop with their own 1995 debut album Soul Food. In 1998 they released Still Standing to critical acclaim, followed by 1999’s World Party. However, during the production of this third album, Cee-Lo departed from the group to pursue a solo career, unhappy with the project’s direction. Goodie Mob’s fourth album, One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show, was released in 2004, suffering poor reception and resulting in the departure of Big Gipp from the group.

In 2006, all four members reunited for a concert, marking their reunion and followed by other performances together in 2008 and 2009. In 2013, Goodie Mob fully reunited for their new album, Age Against the Machine, followed by 2020’s Survival Kit.
