Hip-Hop group Going Through is acclaimed as one of the most influential music duos in late Greek music history. Starting in 1995 with the debut LP “I Anazitisi” and followed by the albums “Mikroi Theoi”, and “Symvolaio Timis”, Going Through reached national success with the certified gold album “La Sagrada Familia” in 2004. From then on, Rapper Nikos NiVo Vourliotis and Producer Michalis Papathanasiou established themselves as a force of influence in the local hip-hop scene of the 2000s while they popularized greek urban music in broader audiences through brand collaborations, numerous tv appearances, magazine covers, and several radio hits. Other highlights in their catalog are the certified gold albums Vendetta (2006) and Veto(2007) which also became a major success, putting Greek hip-hop on the map of the local mainstream music scene.
