Goddess of Victory: Nikke, is a third-person shooting game with gacha mechanics developed by Korean Developers Shift Up and published by Level Infinite, a subsidiary of Tencent Games. The development of the game started back in 2017 and it was finally released for Android and iOS devices on November 4th, 2022. Nikke was released for PCs in February 2023. Nikke is a fast-paced shooter that centres on micromanagement of character switching, and skill activation in an anime style. Nikke is free to play but features in-game purchases for cosmetics, in-game currency, and in-game items, amongst others. Nikke took the world by storm by gaining over US$70 million in its first month of release. Nikke currently has over 25 million downloads globally.

As of the 1st of January, 2024, most of the Nikke soundtrack has been made available on every available major music streaming platform with their label LEVEL 9 licensed by Genie Music.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world infested with enemy alien cyborg organisms called ‘Raptures’ that laid waste to the human population and forced them to flee underground to a safe haven known as ‘The Ark’, and manufactures ‘Nikkes’, cyborg females to combat the Raptures. The game tells the story of a rookie commander who finds himself suddenly in charge of a makeshift squad following a search and rescue mission gone wrong. The squad and the commander find themselves having to adapt to each other’s ideals and value systems to harmonise as a squad, but the squad members learn that there is something fundamentally different between the eccentric protagonist and your everyday commander.
