About go!go!vanillas

go!go!vanillas (ゴーゴーバニラズ) is a four-piece Japanese rock band that formed in 2013 and made their major debut one year later with the album Magic Number in November, despite releasing music prior; the album’s title track “マジック (Magic)” became an underground radio hit.

The band, which consists of vocalist and guitarist Maki Tatsuya (牧 達弥), bassist Hasegawa “Pretty” Keisuke (長谷川プリティ敬祐), drummer Jett Seiya (ジェットセイヤ), guitarist Yanagisawa Shintaro (柳沢 進太郎), and former guitarist Miyagawa Reiya (宮川 怜也) would later gain traction with the success of their 2016 split 7-inch collaboration single Rockin' Zombies with THE BAWDIES; the sucess resulted in a joint collaboration tour between the two.

Since the band’s first success in 2016, the band continues to make releases and make hits, resulting in their song “No. 999” to become the ending theme song to the 2018 anime adaptation of ゲゲゲの鬼太郎 (Gegege no Kitarou), and their single “Amazingrace” to debut at number five on local charts.
