About Glen Keane

Glen Keane was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 13, 1954, and is an American animator, illustrator and author who is most known for his work on classic Disney films such as The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Tarzan, Pocahontas, and Tangled and would eventually be named a Disney legend in 2013 at the annual D23 convention.

Keane would leave Disney in 2012, after being with the house of mouse for 37 years and would go on to create other works such as the Kobe Bryant short Dear Basketball and the Netflix film Over the Moon based on the Chinese myth about the moon goddess Chang'e.
