Georgia Barnes is a British singer, songwriter, producer and drummer.
The daughter of Leftfield keyboardist and cofounder Neil Barnes, she first took up drums while attending the prestigious BRIT School in London. Her self-titled debut album was released via Domino in 2015; however, her breakthrough wouldn’t come until the release of her 2018 single, “Started Out.” BBC Radio 1’s support of the song and its follow-up, “About Work the Dancefloor,” saw the release of its parent album pushed back to capitalise on the hype: Seeking Thrills was eventually released in January 2020, becoming her first top 30 entry in the UK albums chart. The album also included the singles “Never Let You Go” and “24 Hours.”
