Gaz Brookfield is a Bristol-based singer-songwriter.
Starting out with bands including British Beef and Kickout, he transitioned to a solo career in 2006. Four years later, he won Acoustic Magazine’s Singer-Songwriter of the Year Award, which won him a place to play on the Big Top stage at the Beautiful Days Festival.
2011 saw him release his first album Trial and Error, and two years later, he dropped one of his most well-known albums, In the Company of Thieves. His latest release is Lostfolk, which saw him revive an old genre.
Gaz also plays sometimes with The Company of Thieves, a band consisting of himself, Ben Wain Nick Parker, Chris Webb, Leks Woods, John Buckett and Tom Granville.
