About Garth Richardson

Garth “GGGarth” Richardson, a music producer and engineer from Canada, is the son of legendary rock music producer Jack Richardson, who was famous for producing classic albums such as Alice Cooper’s Love it to Death and all of The Guess Who’s albums between 1969 to 1975. Like his father before him, he started his career producing rock music, first establishing his name within the hard rock and metal scene. Like his father before him, he has also produced Alice Cooper on his “come-back” album Constrictor after a 3 year hiatus from music.

Acclaimed albums that GGGarth has produced include: Houdini by The Melvins, the eponymous debut by Rage Against the Machine and *Mother’s Milk by The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Since achieving fame, he has branched out to work with more mainsteam artists like Rise Against, Biffy Clyro and Taylor Swift.

He also co-founded the Nimbus School of Recording Arts and is the owner of Vancouver Rockspace and The Farm Studios.
