About Garrett Williamson

Garrett Williamson (born 1997) is a Nashville-based composer who grew up constantly writing music on piano and figuring out grooves on drums. By the age of ten he began recording his own music and in 2012 he released his debut album, Edge of the Universe, and from there, he continued to release more projects commercially with his sophomore album, The Beat Demon released in 2014, which took a different sound approach from his debut.

He eventually began working on music for YouTubers and YouTube collectives such as Hidden Block, PeanutButterGamer and Scott The Woz, and for video games like Asagao Academy and Obliteracers.

On September 19th, 2020, his third studio album, Middle of Somewhere (originally code named Project1997) released, taking an entirely different route than his previous works. The album contains three previously released singles; “Switch,” “What If I’m Hurt Again” and “Get Along.”
