Gabriel Louis was born in São Paulo and raised in Florianópolis, Brazil and moved at the age of 12 to Stuttgart, Germany. The high contrast between these two countries is also present in his music. Inspired by the differences between American and European countries and their rich culture, bossa nova and reggae elements mark his work, whilst pop influences of artists of the likes of Britney Spears, Rihanna , Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake, Frank Ocean, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars and MARINA shape his music style. For him, music has always been a universal language and a significant tool with which he could express himself and feel alive. Today, many years later, he still holds to this idea. In his songs he shares his most intimate experiences and addresses the issues concerning growing up being gay and trying to find one’s true self. His remarkable voice, authenticity and catchy melodies accompanied by „juicy“ beats make the listener want to dance and enjoy the moment. With his English and Portuguese lyrics, he wants to move and touch people around the world; he wants to make them think, to make them dance and make them cry while giving them some Brazilian vibes.
