Angel Martinez, known as G-Mainey, is an up and coming artist offering versatile styles in his flow and in language by occasionally mixing Spanish bars in his English songs. Growing up he would skateboard with friends and they would play instrumentals while taking turns to freestyle. The immense ties between skateboarding and Hip-Hop/Rap are what led him to begin making music. The Northern California native acquired his unique and surpassing style – one inspired by major rap figures such as Mac Miller, ScHoolboy Q and collective group Odd Future – during high school when he would start rapping with friends. Eventually uploading and sharing tracks to social media platforms. The growing artist released his debut album “Angel” May 2021 featuring major artists such as Berner, Daboii, Lil Bean & Nef The Pharaoh. Certainly an artist to look out for as he continues to emerge into the Hip-Hop/Rap scene.
