Manyok Akol better known as FTG Metro is a rapper from Ottawa, Canada who is with the rap group FTG which comes from the west of Ottawa. Metro has been on songs such as “Meant to be” and Rainy days, which have both over 800k views each on YouTube. Metro raps on his songs of his hardships growing up in the west side of Ottawa on Ritchie street and about surviving a shooting. Sadly on January 8th, 2020 FTG Metro was pronounced dead on the scene of a shooting in Ottawas Centertown neighborhood.

Ottawa lost one of its most talented rappers that day. He had been talking to famous rapper Lil Tjay about possibly making a song and could have made it big.
