Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Frzy has made his footprint on hip hop as one of the industry’s most versatile recording artists. Embodying the hard working, true grit reputation of the city from which he comes, he continues to reach new heights in his career while also maintaining a strong relationship with his hometown community.
Frzy’s music career launched after winning several notable rap battles, including DJ Kay Slay’s Hot 97
‘Drama Kings’ at the Pyramid Club in New York City. His intense performance earned him a spot on Nelly’s St. Lunatics Tour, where he performed alongside Naughty by Nature for crowds of 30,000.
Frzy soon after became the official spokesperson for the Subway Melt, while also adding Rick Ross,
Lil Wayne, Machine Gun Kelly, Wale and others to his performance resume.
Known for his strong writing skills and confident delivery, Frzy has released several projects over the years for which he is responsible for 100% of the lyrics and composition, including those of the artists he features. After the success of his mix tape “Orientation” in 2011, Frzy went on to release the mix tape “iStyle” in 2012 to incredible critical reception, including over 50,000 downloads with no national promotion. “iStyle: Special Edition” followed shortly after Frzy released his debut album in 2016, titled “God King Slave” – a 24 song, double-disc album that highlights his skills as an artist and writer like never before.
