Frums is an electronic music producer and visual artist who made their SoundCloud debut in 2013.

They made waves in rhythm game scenes in 2015 with their debut BOFU tracks “Wavetapper” and “Credits”.

Since then, they’ve built a following around their minimalist, abstract art style, unprecedented flexibility, creative sampling and sound design, and encoding of lyrics and meaning into their music and background art (BGA.) In 2017 they released their debut solo album metacontinues, and in 2020 they collated their SoundCloud singles into their second solo album vignette.

Frums has a music style frequently described as being “their own genre”, blending elements of jazz, IDM, breakcore, drum'n'bass, among countless others.

Frums also frequently contributes to the Diverse System and Unisphere labels, and works alongside rhythm game developers, with contributions in Cytus and Cytus II, Arcaea, SEVEN’s CODE, A Dance of Fire and Ice, maimai, and more.
