About Francis and the Lights

Francis and the Lights is a music group led by Francis Farewell Starlite. Starlite is the group’s only permanent member. The term “and the Lights” refers both to the lights on a stage and pixels on a computer screen.

After numerous EPs and guest collaborations, Francis and the Lights released his first full-length studio album, Farewell Starlite! in 2016. The album’s popularity was aided from appearances from longtime collaborators and friends Bon Iver on “Friends” and Chance the Rapper on “May I Have This Dance (Remix)”. Kanye West also appeared on the album, contributing small amounts of vocals on “Friends” and “My City’s Gone”.

In late 2017, Francis and the Lights released his follow up album, Just for Us.
