Franchise (Battle Rapper)

Dino Gardner, better known as Franchise, is a Candian battle rapper and former soccer player from Toronto, Ontario, who started his battling career in 2014 on BeastMode Battles and King of the Dot. Later, in 2017, he began quickly climbing up the ranks on URL with his hard-hitting punches and heavy aggression. He has also made history as the first non-American battler to sign a URL contract.

Before competing in battle rap, Franchise was a soccer player from 1998 to 2014, an angle often used against him in battles. He played as a defender for the Canadian Soccer League’s TFC Academy and York Region and FC Edmonton in the North American Soccer League. He also made three appearances in international competition, appearing on Canada’s Under-18 men’s national team twice in 2011, and appearing on the Under-20 men’s national team once in 2012.
