Fox were a British based pop band popular in the mid 1970s. Led by American songwriter Kenny Young (who co wrote Under The Boardwalk for the Drifters), the band featured the charismatic lead singer Noosha Fox (real name Susan Traynor born 8 December 1954 in Australia).
They had 3 top 20 hits on the UK singles charts, “Only You Can” and “Imagine Me Imagine You” in 1975 and “S-S-S-Single Bed” in 1976. Noosha Fox achieved a minor solo hit in 1977 with “Georgina Bailey”. They issued 3 albums “Fox” and “Tails of Illusion” in 1975 and “Blue Hotel” in 1977 before the band broke up. The other members of the band included Herbie Armstong (lead guitar), Jim Gannon (guitar), Gary Taylor (bass guitar), Pete Solley (keyboards) and Jim Frank (drums and percussion).
