Changing the game with his entrepreneurial spirit and passionate drive to leave more than just a mark on the music industry, Doug “Biggs” Ellison, CEO, and founder of Four Kings Productions is coming on so strong that his impact is sure to refigure the meaning of success, as we know it. The drive and confidence that impels his career has been fueled by a life of well-learned lessons and a desire to delete a void in the music industry.
In pursuit of mastering professional business savvy and music production, he enrolled at CUNY/Queensborough Community College, Five Towns College, and later Full Sail University, with a major in business management and a minor in audio production. Biggs commitment to self-improvement has been a constant motivation in his development as an industry professional. Though he had been employed as a chef, telemarketer, real estate agent, and manager at an insurance company, the will to bring real music and raw talent to the forefront of the entertainment industry became a driving force, leading him out of mediocrity and launching his career as a pioneer in the music industry.
While working to create beneficial opportunities for underground talent and seeking a uniquely unparalleled sound and presence in an artist, Ellison met singing sensation Chrisette Michele. He used the trust built through their friendship to motivate Chrisette Michele, and used both his professional expertise and hustler attitude as a means of exploiting her talent, and business skills to create opportunities as her manager. Not only did artist Chrisette Michele secure a deal with Island Def Jam but Ellison also effectively negotiated multiple term multimillion-dollar contracts with SESAC, & EMI Publishing.
