Fonz (Battle Rapper)

Ty Bogan, better known as Fonz, is an American battle rapper from Cleveland, Ohio. Fonz got his start battling in 2013 on Bar4Bar Battle League in his hometown, where he first became known for his back-to-back punching style and dense wordplay. In 2016, he made his debut in URL’s Proving Grounds against King Ape, and soon after, steadily rose through the ranks to become one of the league’s hungriest newcomers, with spots on Born Legacy 6 against Duce and on Born Legacy 8 against Jai 400 Block in 2019.

In 2020, the self-proclaimed “Lord of Da Land” was crowned the Champion of Season 1 of Ultimate Madness, URL’s biggest tournament series with 16 MCs competing. He defeated Jey The Nitewing in the final battle of the tournament and the opening battle of NOME X to win $25,000 and the chance to battle any veteran of his choice (he ended up calling out K-Shine).
