Floot is a trap producer from New Zealand. He began playing the drums at the age of 6 and quickly became obsessed with creating his own music to share with people. At the age of 12, he began producing electronic music from his bedroom. His passion for percussion aided Floot in discovering his sound when he realised that he could translate his understanding of complex rhythms into his music. In 2018, Floot travelled to Los Angeles where he honed his craft and began to release music for the world to hear. Teaming up with Lucas Devotion, his record label PACIFIC EMPIRE hopes to bridge the gap between local New Zealand talent and artists based in the USA.
