This Catalonian composer (1893-1987) was born Frederic Mompou i Dencausse, but became known under the name Federico Mompou in Franquista Spain. He wrote songs and piano pieces, and is best known for the latter, taking inspiration from French impressionists such as Debussy and Ravel.
