Fear Before (formerly Fear Before the March of Flames) is a post-hardcore band formed in Aurora, Colorado in 2002 by frontmen Adam Fisher and David Marion, bassist Michael Madruga, and drummer Brandon Proff. They have released four studio albums to date, most notably 2006’s The Always Open Mouth, which garnered acclaim for its experimental songwriting and cryptic social commentary. Since 2010, the band has been on an indefinite hiatus.
