Young artist out of the Tallahassee, FL trenches found his love for making music in late 2021 by recording ironic covers of popular rap songs, the only known covers being of “Moon” and “Off The Grid” by Kanye West. Soon after in October of 2021 he created his first ever rap song titled “Rachel Mae” made for his friend Rachel Schmidtchen, to help boost her confidence. Ethan realized he enjoyed the act of creating music, but lacked confidence, experience, and motivation to create any further tracks. It wasn’t until one night in late November of 2022 when Ethan and friends Jermaine Edwards and Nicholas Allen embarked on making a rap song for fun. They ended up creating first ever and unreleased song “Glammies & Blacks” of the would now be rap collective “Glammies”, name stemming from the name of the song. “Glammies & Blacks” would be continued being worked on from through December, eventually gaining verses from the likes of Isaiah Louis, who would then join Glammies after recording his verse, and other collaborators such as Weat2x and Swollious. After continuing to brainstorm ideas for future Glammies songs, Ethan would then create first offically released track, “BUM BUM BELLY”. Originally intended to serve as Ethan’s first solo endeavor, he went to new Glammies member Isaiah Louis. Isaiah Louis recorded the now iconic verse, and in turn made Ethan decide to release “BUM BUM BELLY” as the first ever Glammies song. After the lack of opportunity to continue to create music as a group, Ethan ventured off to release a few singles of his own as a solo artist. He released cover of BROCKHAMPTON track “WASTE” on February 6th, 2023. Soon two friends of Ethan noticed his new tracks, and requested songs about them, leading to tracks “EYE//TALIA” and “A LIAH” releasing in February and March consecutively, with “A LIAH” serving as a diss track on friend Aliyah Marquez. For a brief period of time, a collab EP was in works with friend Ian Brown, but was ultimately reduced to two singles “SUNSHINE & LOLLIPOPS” and “IAN IS MY FRIEND / ETHAN IS MY FRIEND” being released. Popular track “A LIAH” caught the eyes of Aliyah’s family, as they loved the song, but one of Aliyah’s siblings, Nesbly, caught the eyes of Ethan. Ethan began to flirt with 23 year old Nesbly via communication with Aliyah. Asking for a song herself, Nesbly unintentionally set Ethan on the path to release his first album. Ethan, who saw this opportunity to prove his worth for Nesbly, decided to make not one, but two songs for her. As more songs being created as a trial and error method for making the perfect song, Ethan then realized these few songs were evolving into an album. Ethan saw an album for Nesbly as the perfect way to prove himself to her, and one up his last person centered endeavor, “A LIAH”. After two months of hard work, “NEBSLY” was released as a Spotify exclusive on May 26, 2023, being met with lots of praise from fans of Ethan and Nesbly alike. Having to cut favorite tracks due to trying to meet a promised deadline, Ethan had the idea to release a deluxe to the album, which as of now hasn’t seen the light of day. Track list for this deluxe would’ve included fan favorite tracks, “SKATE”, “HUE”, and “TALKN BOUT NO DUDES”. Its rumored the deluxe never released due to Ethan experiencing burnout and exhaustion from the creation of the album. Although, after being teased on the Glammies Instagram in April, anticipated Glammies track “TAKE A GLIMPSE” released in June, featuring background vocals and mixing from Ethan. Ethan then went on a 6 month hiatus, being rumored to have focused on doing features for other artists and working on long awaited Glammies album. In November and December, Ethan made a reappearance with the release of two Glammies tracks, “AND THEN” and “AM I A GOOD MAN?”, with him being at the center stage of these songs. In late December, first ever Ethan feature was released on Spotify, with “BED BUGS BITE (FREESTYLE) by KT Molesta. On January 3rd, "Middle School Dropout”, single of fellow Glammies member Nicholas Allen, released with writing credits and background vocals from Ethan. As of January, it seems we are in the beginning of the Glammies album rollout. There are faint rumors of a release of the long awaited NEBSLY deluxe, and a full fledged collab album with KT Molesta.
