Emphatic was a hard rock/metal band from Omaha, Nebraska that formed in 2004. During the band’s tenure, they got signed to Universal, Epochal/Capitol Artist Records, Atlantic Records, and Pavement Entertainment. The sole original member left as of 2012 was lead guitarist and primary songwriter Justin McCain. In total, Emphatic released 3 EPs and 3 albums. In December 2015, Emphatic changed their name to Through the Fire and then simply, Through Fire. They are currently signed to Sumerian Records and their first album under the name Through Fire, Breathe was released July 1st, 2016.
