Emly Starr Explosion, or simply Emly Starr, was a disco group from the 1970’s & 80’s from Belgium. Emly Starr first started making songs in 1976, with her single “Tears of Gold” and many more songs throughout the years. Some songs were very popular in Belgium, and she preformed in some dance and song contests. She was also at Eurovision in 1981 with the song “Samson” finishing in 13th place. She also appeared in a couple movies and documentaries. Their last song “Jump in The Dark” was in 1986. There have been a few compilations released, most recent being “Love Is Elastic” from 2008, featuring DVD’s and a CD of greatest hits. There’s also an official website:
