Jason Powers, known as eLZhi, is an MC from Detroit, Michigan.

Known to many underground rap fans as “Detroit’s Best Kept Secret”, eLZhi is a former member of Slum Village and currently records as a solo artist. He is best known for his complicated rhyme schemes, many of which contain polysyllabic patterns, internal rhymes and alliteration, evocative imagery, simile and metaphor.

eLZhi announced that he is planning to release an album with producer and recording engineer Khrysis as a duo named Jericho Jackson. On Feburary 9, 2018, the two posted on Instagram and Twitter with the tracklist and released the first single, “Self Made.”
