Elyse Shackleton is a 20-year-old multi-instrumentalist from California. Her debut album, Car Conversations, released on December 21, 2018.

She writes, produces, and performs all of her own songs. Blending intimate, story-driven pop with R&B, folk, and jazz-influenced chord structures, she sets the stage for the lyrics crafted lovingly in her phone notes and tiny notebooks.

Her unique sound takes many forms, including laid back electro-pop, piano ballads, guitar-driven folk, and 80’s dance funk, all of which borrow elements from her not-so-secret love of jazz chords.
