El Mahdi Aboulmanadel (born February 22, 2000), known professionally as Ghaly, is a rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor from Morocco. He is a member of the group Boite Vocale, that he established in 2015.
El Mahdi started rapping at the age of 9, when he moved to the city. When Ghaly was 12 years old, his father told him about his childhood, when he did spoken words poetry at the municipal theater of his hometown, so he taught him how to write his own songs.
3 years of experience made him more patient, skilled, and professional than ever. In spite of the lack of opportunities in his home country, he got signed in 2018. He subsequently released his first Album recorded in 2015 “The Bottom”, LENY has also directed music videos for himself, Ink, 7-Tim, Reda, Pimo and other Boite Vocale members. After that he established Boite Vocale as a Record label, he started working with his team on some new hits and he decided to present his culture in his music and also visuals.
