אהוד מנור (1941-2005) היה מגדולי פזמונאי ישראל, חתן פרס ישראל לזמר העברי לשנת 1998 ואבן פינה בחתכים רבים בתרבות הישראלית.

מהתרגום של המחזמר “שיער”, דרך כתיבת שירים נצחיים כמו “בשנה הבאה” ועד לעבודתו כשדרן טלוויזיה – מעטים המקומות במוזיקה ובתרבות הישראלית שעבודתו של מנור אינה מורגשת.

Ehud Manor (1941-2005) was one the most prominent Israeli lyricists, the recipient of the 1998 Israel Prize for his work in Israeli music and a cornerstone in multiple facets of Israeli culture.

From translating the musical Hair into Hebrew (the link is for the title song in Hebrew), through writing eternal songs such as “Ba-Shana Ha-Ba'ah” and to his work as a prominent television host, there’re few corners in Israeli culture and music in which his presence is not felt.
