Ego is a grime MC from Lewisham, South East London, and a founding member of grime collective Family Tree. While his music output is relatively scarce, he released a mixtape entitled Standard in 2010 and an acclaimed EP, Actually Active, in 2011.

He continues to use the Family Tree name today alongside TKO and Shifman despite Merky ACE declaring the collective officially finished.
