Edward Bivins aka as Ed “Sonny” Bivins, (Edward Jesse Bivins Jr., born 15 January 1936 in Macon, Georgia; died 3 December 2014).
He was an American singer/songwriter, R&B / soul vocalist, founding member of “The Manhattans” in 1962, and wrote many of their hit songs. He led the “Manhattans” up until his death.
