Eduard Izmestyev, originally known by his stage name Andrei Bandera, is a Russian singer, composer, and arranger. He gained fame primarily in the Russian chanson genre, achieving success through his talent and dedication rather than industry connections.
He composed several of Vitas' albums, including Philosophy of Miracle, which features well-known tracks like “Opera #2” and “The 7th Element.” Despite this, the internet has incorrectly credited Vitas' manager, Sergey Pudovkin, as the composer. Pudovkin, however, is not involved in the composition process. He is Vitas' manager and businessman, the man who makes the product, finds him the proper events, proper TV shows, hires the team, essentially he made Vitas the character he is.
Eduard’s music first appeared on the “Chanson” radio, and he is a five-time winner of the Chanson of the Year award. He has also released several albums, such as Because I Love and Enchanted Heart. Izmestyev’s career spans multiple musical styles, from instrumental compositions to ballads and dance music, and he continues to perform under his real name today.
