Eamon Friel was a Northern Irish musician, broadcaster, and former teacher, born in 1949. Based in Derry, Friel released his first album in 1984. In the 80s, he started working with BBC Northern Ireland, while continuing to record new music. Friel passed away on 21 June 2019.
