Dylan van Dael (98’) is a producer and writer from the Netherlands. Being born in the heart of Bogota, Colombia and moving to The Netherlands at a young age allowed Dylan to explore many different musical styles and cultures.
At the age of seventeen, Dylan started studying Music Production & Composition at the University of the Arts Utrecht, The Netherlands. During the middle of his studies, he felt the need for a change of plans. “I felt like I was ready for a new challenge. I wanted to explore something new. Musically but also personally. To do this, I needed to throw myself at the deep. I decided to move to Berlin.”
Soon he’d find himself working in studios and producing songs for many different artists. It didn’t take long before he got in contact with the Atlas-Herzberg team (Stromae, SEEED, Thomas Azier, Bonaparte, Yves Saint Laurent) “It feels like we share the same vision on music. Music is art but also a craft. Something you can learn and eventually master.” Nowadays Dylan continues working and developing in an old DDR factory in East-Berlin, where Atlas-Herzberg founded their studio complex.
