Possibly the only notable producer from Africa, Tahar Bendjedi, better known as Dxrk ダーク, is a producer that is well known for his production in the genre of ‘Phonk’.

He found inspiration for his production style through the early SoundCloud era of rap, listening to artists like Comenthazine and Smokepurpp. His production style was also heavily influenced by 2015 era $uicideboy$ which helped expand his abilities to produce.
