DVRIEN is in a lane of his own. He expresses himself with melodic vocals over hard hitting, bass heavy beats. Raised in New Jersey, he was surrounded by music his entire life. His father was a DJ and his mother was a music enthusiast. Inspired by watching his father DJ in his basement, he wanted to try his hand at music. At 13, he strived to be a rapper and spent hours listening to instrumentals and writing raps to them. After a while, he started to fall in love with the beat making process, so his father bought him FL Studio. He gave up rapping and spent the next 2 years making beats and perfecting his sound.

“The goal is to make sounds that no one have ever heard before,” he says describing his mindset going to making a beat. “The plan is to create a new genre of music.”

He has produced tracks for frequent collaborator AceeWavey and has released, and produced, his debut single “Count My Blessings” in late 2018.

His debut project ‘MYNAMEISDARIEN’ is set to drop in 2019
