Dual Damage is a Dutch rawstyle duo consisting of Thijs Rooijakkers and Jesper Habraken. Popular for their very unconventional “PVC kicks”, Dual Damage sky-rocketed to become one of the most popular hard dance acts of the early 2020s.

Beforehand, both of them were producing general hardstyle tracks under Backfire and Primex respectively, mainly in Unfold Records, and even collaborated before.

The Dual Damage project started in September 2022 in Soundcloud. Not long after, their take on “Game Over” by Warface and late Delete was posted, and became popular as their first breakthrough. Dual Damage later on releases more proper rawstyle tracks, with “Hiding” marked another breakthrough in popularity, bringing forward their signature “PVC kicks”. In fact, it’s so popular, it leaked from the harder scenes into general EDM, with Porter Robinson and Timmy Trumpet notably featured it in their sets.

From there, Dual Damage gained an unrivalled rise of popularity, becoming one of the most popular acts of the harder styles of the time, together with their very apparent kicks, their own live-set, Get Wrecked, and their own label, Ravage Records.
