dreams & screams is the name of Genius songwriter duo J4D3 and portorosso. They’re best friends, and both are stans of the 2021 Disney movie Encanto, with most of their songs as a duo being inspired by the movie.

Their first single as a duo, “The Encanto Gays,” a song about their love for Encanto, was released on January 9, 2022.

The inspiration for the name “dreams & screams” is from one of the lyrics from Dolores (Jade’s favorite character) and Camilo’s (Milo’s favorite character) verse from “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”:
