However, Mai would depart from the group on July 7, 2002, and auditions were held to find a replacement; instead of one, six members were added into the linuep. The new additions would include Risa Ai, Erie Abe, Aya Takamoto, Ami Nakashima, Shizuka Nishida, and Sayaka Yamamoto, making the group a total of eight; Risa Ai would leave in March of 2004 to pursue a solo career.
The group would perform as a seven member group until 2007, with the departure of member Yu Hasebe in 2008 as she wanted to pursue a solo career. Around the same time, the group shortened their name to DRM, but the name would later revert back. At this time, Kana Tachibana was the only remaining member from the original lineup until her departure in 2011.
After years of activity and member departures, the group disbanded officially on June 5, 2017, as all of the remaining members had decided to leave in order to pursue their own things.
